Fernanda is the first female in three generations of attorneys. Her grandfather played a pivotal role in the Mexican agrarian reforms following the revolution, and her father, a renowned expert in intellectual property, has made lasting contributions to IP law in Mexico. Fernanda began her legal journey at Olivares & Cía, awarded Best Latin American IP Firm in 2024, where she discovered her passion for Intellectual Property. She then joined Hinojosa Alvarez & Asociados as a partner, managing the firm’s entire case portfolio, from IP transactions to litigation, with clients like Broncolin, Miguelito, and cultural icon Salvador Novo.
Driven by both professional ambition and a personal journey, Fernanda moved to the U.S. and first joined Mojito, the creators of Sotheby’s and Mercedes Benz’s metaverses, and then joined the Helium Network. She soon realized she wanted to work somewhere where actions matched values, a place that genuinely seeks to reshape the legal profession. This led her to Ashbury.
